Project Summary:

Mi Futuro focuses on vocational guidance for students from semi-private and public schools in Nicaragua. The main goal is to provide the knowledge and tools necessary for them to make informed decisions about their professional development. To achieve this, the project conducts personality tests, workshops on national and international undergraduate scholarship programs, among others. The project aims to create a lasting and positive impact on the well-being and educational growth of young people.

General Objectives:

The project aims to promote vocational guidance and improve professional development among students from semi-private and public schools in Nicaragua.

Specific Objectives:

  • Help students understand themselves better through personality tests.
  • Provide detailed tools to assist students in deciding on their professional development.
  • Provide information on careers, salary ranges, and related workshops.

Implementation Period:

  • Phase 1: 2022 in Managua.
  • Phase 2: 2023 in Managua.
  • Phase 3: 2024 in Managua and Granada.

Geographical Zones of Action:

Nicaragua: Department of Managua, Department of Granada.

Number of Beneficiaries:

  • Phase 1: 2022 - 60 students from semi-private schools in Managua (40% boys and 60% girls).
  • Phase 2: 2023 - 180 students from semi-private and public schools in Managua (30% boys and 70% girls).
  • Phase 3: 2024 - 120 students from semi-private schools in Managua and Granada (40% boys and 60% girls).
  • Total: 360 students. Less than 20% with disabilities, including students with autism and partial blindness.

Implementation Partners:

Academic Institutions (Divino Pastor School, Pedro Betancourt School, Taekwondo Impacto Mayoreo Academy in Managua, and San Pablo Apóstol School in Granada).
